We realize that in today's economy, extra funds can be hard to come by. That's why we've partnered with different organizations that will donate to the school in exchange for your help. If you have any questions about the following options, or if you would like to help in other ways for free, please contact us!

Box Top$ For Education

Please save all the labels found in General Mills boxes or containers. Each label can be redeemed for $.10. Labels can be turned in at the Browning Elementary office. As a special treat, the class that brings in the most labels at the end of each month gets a prize. At the end of the year the class that brought the most labels gets a pizza party! So… ask family and friends to save them for you.

Campbell’s Soup Labels For Education

When you save the labels of eligible products and send them to our school, you are helping us earn money! Campells will make monetary donations to schools based on the amount of labels turned in to them. So save those labels and bring them in!

Hannaford Helps Schools

At Hannaford Supermarkets, customers receive school dollar certificates at the register with purchases of participating products. The school dollars can then be turned in to local schools who can redeem them for cash from Hannaford. You can help Browning/SLA by dropping your “school dollar”  certificates at one of our offices.

Cell Phones & Printer Cartridges

Bring your printer cartridges and old cell phones to the offices. We can exchange them for cash. There is a collection box in the Browning Lobby.

Got Books?

Every book, CD, DVD, and VHS tape donation dropped off in a contain is brought back to a warehouse and sorted to find its best possible purpose. Items will likely end up in one of the following locations: Books for the troops, books for teachers, schools, libraries, Walter Reed Hospital or other military and veterans hospitals, New Orleans Recovery and charitable book sales.

A collection bin, pictured above, has been placed on Main Street in South Lancaster, between Siver’s Insurance and Fisk Automotive. SLA and Browning receives cash according to the weight of the contents. No newspapers or magazines please, just books of any kind!

 TD Bank

We have joined TD Banknorth’s Affinity Membership Program, which provides our school the opportunity to earn annual cash contributions.  We are thrilled with the ease of participating in this program and that there is no cost to our school or you, our supporters.

Here is how it works:

TD Banknorth will contribute a percentage of the annual balance in every one of member’s accounts.  Checking, savings, money market, CDs and retirement accounts are included! And, there is no limit on the amount of our potential contribution!

Here is how you can help:

Make TD Banknorth your bank.  Visit any TD Banknorth location and open any of the above mentioned accounts.  Let the TD representative know that you want your account linked to the South Lancaster Academy/Browning Elementary (Code Q8)Affinity Program.  That’s it… TD Banknorth will take care of the rest.  If you already have a TD Banknorth account, just visit your local office and tell any Customer Service Representative you would like your account linked to our Affinity Membership Program.

South Lancaster Academy & Browning Elementary need to have 100 TD Banknorth customers sign up as their Affinity Members to guarantee the donation, so make that call today! Remember the code number, Q8.

Feel free to contact us with any questions you might have regarding this program, or visit any TD Banknorth location to speak with a Customer Service Representative.   Thank you, in advance for your continued support of South Lancaster Academy and Browning Elementary.
