International Students

Application Process
International Students must submit the following:

1. Completed application packet (see New Students link for forms)

2. $300 non-refundable application fee

3. Payment of tuition and application fee for one academic year.

(Upon completion of this process the admissions committee will make a decision regarding acceptance and placement of the international student. An 1-20 will be processed following formal acceptance.)

Ongoing Process
International students will be charged a $25 fee each school year for maintenance of the 1-20. An ongoing 1-20 will not be signed until appropriate financial payments have been made for the following year.

Student Transfer Process
An international student must provide the following documentation for school transfer:

1. A written notice must be provided to SLA and Browning requesting transfer 9

2. Written confirmation must be received from the receiving school indicating acceptance

3. $300 non-refundable 1-20 transfer fee

4. Tuition and fees are non-refundable for the current semester. Any student leaving at the end of 1st semester may receive a tuition refund for the remainder of the year. Students leaving mid-semester forfeit the full semester tuition.

(Note: An 1-20 will be canceled and reported for any international student who misses three or more consecutive days of class without appropriate arrangements with the school registrar.)
